In May, a group of us from Acts 4:9 got together, along with several other groups of people from the greater Jackson area, to participate in this year's Downtown Flower Planting event. It is designed to encourage members of the community to hlep beautify Jackson. When people spend time working hard on something, beautifying something, we usually tend to build a sense of ownership and become caretakers of our communities.
