As we study Amos, a question has emerged that we cannot ignore. Amidst all of the calamity around us -- from our economy, to government, to life-stress, etc, -- do you trust God?
In the 3rd chapter, Amos tells us that calamity comes from the hand of God Himself. He sends it our way in order to get our attention, and to bring us back to him. He disciplines, He chastens, and He brings glory and honor to Himself.
Do you trust Him?
I mean, REALLY trust Him?Or are you trusting in your own accomplishments, your own abilities, your own portfolio?
