WARM THE CHILDREN:

We teamed up with the Jackson Citizen Patriot and Meijer to meet the needs of the less-fortunate in Jackson County. We were one group of many volunteers who offered our time and services to shop with randomly-selected, low-income families. Each child in each selected family was granted $83 worth of clothing items that their parents could purchase...free of charge to them. It was a simple, inexpensive way to be involved in others' lives. All it cost was our individual time (one night for a couple hours) and gas money (which is tax-deductible). Once again, it was truly a privilege serving those who needed and appreciated the service. Thanks to the CitPat and Meijer for making it happen. Kudos to Marian Gray for putting us in touch with the right people to make it happen.
